Royal Plymouth Corinthian Yacht Club Awarded Club of the Year Certificate of Commendation from the RYA.
PLYMOUTH, UK – In February 2023, the Royal Plymouth Corinthian Yacht Club (RPCYC) was awarded a Club of the Year Certificate of Commendation from the Royal Yachting Association (RYA).
The RYA Club of the Year Award is a prestigious honor that recognizes excellence and achievement in sailing clubs across the UK. The award is based on the club’s overall achievements, including the development of sailing skills, the growth of membership, and the promotion of sailing within the community.
RPCYC has been at the forefront of promoting sailing in Plymouth for over a century. The club offers a wide range of sailing, boating and social activities for all ages and abilities. With a strong cohort of boat owners the club is known for its Cruising in Company programme and is proud to be associated with the Port of Plymouth Association where members can enjoy a wide range of activities from dinghy sailing and yacht racing to powerboat training and navigation courses. The club is known for its commitment to safety and the environment, as well as its strong social and community programs.
