Cargreen Cruiser Regatta

Please contact Steve Oliver via the club Facebook group by clicking here if you would like to join the regatta and take part in the white sail race. Some details below. More available via the club face group page.

A friendly and fun regatta with an unusual formula – all members from PPSA clubs very welcome
White Sail Division for beginners and those wishing to compete less seriously. White Sail boats will comply with International Rules for Prevention of Collision and wear a normal ensign and display a white flag.
All courses start in the Sound and then continue up the river on the flood to Cargreen. Courses designed so that all boats finish together at Cargreen.
Start and finish times to be recorded by entrants and submitted to race control (details to be provided within Sailing Instructions). Results will be published online.
Sailing Instructions will be available in August.
Shore side activities are planned to include live music, a bar and a hog roast.

Dandy Hole and BBQ

A trip across the Sound and up the Tamar on September 11th before heading down the Lyhner to anchor in the hidden Cornish paradise that is the Dandy Hole. Bring dinghy’s BBQ and food! Please email to confirm if you are coming along. If you would like to crew on a boat that weekend please let me know and we’ll do our best to organise.

Keeping up to date with the sailing program
For those of you on Facebook, there is a new group that has been created to allow us to all share information, chat about our sailing experiences, and share photos of our adventures! The group is called RPCYC Members and is a private group for our membership and perspective members. Please join up – it’s a great way for members to meet each other and build our club community.
