The event was a resounding success, with a large turnout of sailors and boating enthusiasts eager to learn more about how to prepare for emergency situations at sea.

The talk was led by Adrian Bishop, a seasoned sailor and safety expert, who shared their extensive knowledge on the subject of safety grab bags. Attendees learned about the key components of a safety grab bag, including important documents, communication devices, first-aid supplies, food, and water. The presentation also covered the importance of regularly checking and updating the contents of a safety grab bag, as well as tips for storing and securing the bag on board.

The event was a great opportunity for sailors and boaters to learn from an expert in the field, and to share their own experiences and knowledge with one another. Attendees were able to ask questions and engage in discussions, making for a lively and informative evening.

The RPCYC club is committed to promoting safe boating practices and providing its members with the resources they need to stay safe on the water. This talk night was just one example of the many educational events and resources the club provides to its members.
