Royal Plymouth Corinthian Yacht Club Welcomes Clipper Race Crew for Exclusive Talk and Boat Tour

Plymouth, UK – 22 February 2025 – Members of the Royal Plymouth Corinthian Yacht Club (RPCYC) were treated to a fascinating and inspiring morning today as Chris Harris from the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race delivered an engaging talk about the upcoming the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race.

The event kicked off with a delicious breakfast, setting the stage for an informative and entertaining session where the Clipper Race team shared insights into the challenges and excitement of one of the world’s most demanding sailing events. Attendees had the rare opportunity to get up close to one of the 70ft ocean-racing yachts that will be taking part in this year’s race, experiencing firsthand the impressive design and capabilities of these high-performance vessels.

Commodore Chris Deane expressed his enthusiasm for the event and the spirit of adventure it inspired among club members. “It was a fantastic morning, and we’re grateful to the Clipper Race team for sharing their experiences with us.
