An evening with Pete Goss

At the Royal Plymouth Corinthian Yacht Club (RPCYC), we gathered for another exciting evening as renowned sailing celebrity Pete Goss recounted his extraordinary voyage from Cornwall to Australia. With captivating storytelling, Goss shared vivid memories, navigating through treacherous waters and overcoming formidable challenges. His tales of adventure and resilience inspired the audience, leaving us with a deeper appreciation for the art of sailing and the indomitable spirit of human endeavor on the open seas! Thanks to Stuart for organising, John for the fantastic pasties, Julie, Neil and Hudson and everyone that helped for hosting in style and of course to Pete himself who’s generous support we are very grateful for. It was very fitting that on International Women’s Day Pete suggested that a donation from the evenings proceeds go to Pip Hare’s fund raising efforts as she prepares for the next Vendee Globe around the world race which starts in November.

Keep an eye out here for more fabulous events at the RPCYC.
