More available via the club face group page. \nA friendly and fun regatta with an unusual formula – all members from PPSA clubs very welcome\nWhite Sail Division for beginners and those wishing to compete less seriously. White Sail boats will comply with International Rules for Prevention of Collision and wear a normal ensign and display a white flag.\nAll courses start in the Sound and then continue up the river on the flood to Cargreen. Courses designed so that all boats finish together at Cargreen.\nStart and finish times to be recorded by entrants and submitted to race control (details to be provided within Sailing Instructions). DESCRIPTION:This is a weekend for everyone. Starting on August 20th\, come for all 3 days or join up with the group over the weekend when you fancy it. We wanted to put on an event especially designed for those who would like to join another members boat as crew but of course we want to encourage as many boats as we can to join in a weekend of local sailing. Stay out overnight or return home at the end of each day.Wind direction permitting\, on Friday evening we head out around to the other side of Rame Head at 6pm\, drop the hook or raft up and head into the beach for a BBQ. Saturday morning\, we’ll meet at 10am and cruise out towards the Eddystone before heading back into Cawsand Bay and a trip into the village for a drink. If we have any energy left\, we’ll meet up at 10am on the Sunday and head over to the Yealm. DESCRIPTION:The club would like to support the PPSA Yacht regatta and if we get enough entries would like to use finishing places in the White Sail Race on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th to decide places in this year’s RPCYC club White Sail regatta.\nOwners will need to be current members of the RPCYC to qualify. Entries and details can be made https://yacht-regatta.ppsa.org.uk.\n\nPlease enter your boat as being in the RPCYC club (even if you are in two clubs!) so we know what to look for when the results come in. SUMMARY:Eddystone & Cawsand Cruise Update
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday 26th there will be a cruise out towards the Eddystone before returning to anchor up in Cawsand Bay. Then it’s back to the club for a drink. Meet at the Dunstone buoy at 10am. Free flow through the Sutton Lock is from 04:46 – 10:11 and 16:47 – 22:43.  Low tide is 14:06 and we are on a Spring tide so extra caution is required if approaching the Eddystone. The weather is not looking great on the Sunday unfortunately so the planned group activity has been postponed. \nSkippers Duties: Each Skipper at all times is responsible for the safety of the boat\, crew and safe pilotage. Has valid insurance and is responsible for his/her decision to put to sea for any leg of the Cruise. The plan given above is only to provide as a suggestion to those wishing to sail in company.

DESCRIPTION:We will be cruising to Salcombe on Saturday 19th and returning to Plymouth the following day. Spaces have been reserved on the visitors pontoon and we have booked some tables at the Salcombe Yacht Club on Saturday evening for us to enjoy some food together after the sail. Everyone is very welcome.
